Are you experiencing issues with a customer balance? Does something not look right?
Here's some tools at your disposal to check what might be going on. (Also available is a Youtube tutorial, for that click here)
First, let's verify that the customer balance is correct on Customer Dashboard.
1. Look up customer, it will open the Customer Dashboard on the Quick View page. There you can verify the balance.
If the customer balance looks incorrect, the next place you can look at is the Invoices and Payments tab.
An incorrect balance could simply mean the customer hasn't paid an invoice or there is an overpayment.
If there is still a discrepancy and you are unable to find it on the Invoice and Payments tab, you can look at the Customer History under Quick Reports tab.
The Customer History will give you a more detailed breakdown of invoice and payments that you can go through and look for any discrepancies to make the necessary adjustments.
