Are you ready to set up your customer's auto-billing?
(If a customer is added to Auto-Billing you can quickly complete your billing cycle based on the options chosen in this feature. If you would like to learn more about Auto Billing - check out the Help Page for Run Billing by clicking here: Run Billing)
Here's how to add it from the Customer Dashboard!
1. From the Company Dashboard, click on CUSTOMERS; then either scroll to find their name or use the search bar, and click VIEW.

2. Next, select BILLING under the customer's name.

3. Here on the BILLING SETTINGS, you have several options. (1) Choose if their invoices will be Printed, Emailed, or both; (2) select if they will be billed via the Primary or Secondary Billing Batches; (3) select the Item to Bill (there are preset billable or invoice items already created in Paythepoolman. If you would like to add custom billable or invoice items go to BILLING Menu on Company Dashboard. Click and choose Invoice Items. Here's a link to that Help Page article: How to Add Income Items) (4) And select the Price they'll be charged.

4. Under DESCRIPTION, you have the option to insert a billing code that will populate the month you're billing for depending on how you bill. The options are: Previous, Current or Next Month. Just click on the item of your choice and it will auto populate in the Description box.

5. A billing rate type -FLAT RATE OR PER SERVICE STOP - must be chosen in order for customer to be ACTIVE in autobilling. (Note: If you would like to add additional or advanced billing options to Customer Billing, these can be added on Company Settings Page. For example, if you want to bill WEEKLY, you'll find that option there.)

6. If you want to have your invoices sent via text message, just toggle on the option for AUTOMATIC INVOICE TEXTING. See this Help Page for more information about our TEXT BUCKETS! Text Buckets Once you have completed auto-billing set up click SAVE.

Now your customer is set up for auto billing and ACTIVE!
